Cuore caldo al cioccolato
Romanticoni e golosoni, this is the right cake for you!
Truth be told, I’m a chocoholic while my husband Francesco is not, so baking this cake for Valentine’s Day might not be the most romantic gesture. Good thing is, Valentine’s Day in the States is for lovers and friends alike, so I can always find some friend to share this cake with and bake something else for my husband.
Ecco la ricetta:
- 200 grams (7.0 OZ) all purpose flour – FARINA
- 200 grams (7.0 OZ) sugar – ZUCCHERO
- 200 grams (7.0 OZ) unsalted butter – BURRO
- 4 eggs – UOVA
- 200 grams (7.0 OZ) dark chocolate – CIOCCOLATO FONDENTE
- 60 ml (2 fl OZ) milk – LATTE
Iniziamo! Start by melting chocolate and butter (I used two pots on the stove, one on top of the other, had simmering water on the bigger one and chocolate and butter on the smaller one, a bagnomaria, but you can use the microwave, se vuoi).
Mix eggs and sugar with an electric beater; slowly rain in flour, mixing well until mixture is smooth. Then add melted chocolate and butter and milk, beating until all is blended.
Preheat oven to 375. Butter and flour a heart-shaped pan (I got mine at Ikea). Scrape batter into pan and bake for 30 minutes. Remember, the cake does not have to be fully baked if you want to have the soft, melting chocolate effect!
Serve warm, with some berries or vanilla ice cream. Divina, assolutamente da provare!!
