Ounces, grams? Forget them!! This cake is going to make everyone happy, since the only tool you need to measure the ingredients is the yogurt cup. Fidatevi, amerete questa torta!! Trust me, you’ll love this cake!! My old time friend Emanuela, whom I’ve known since I was 5 (ciao tesorA, come stai?) gave this recipe to me and now I make this cake almost every week, as it’s so easy and healthy.
Ecco gli ingredienti, here are the ingredients:
One 6 oz cup plain or vanilla yogurt – un vasetto di yogurt
2 (yogurt) cups of sugar – due vasetti di zucchero
3 eggs – tre uova
3 (yogurt) cups of flour – tre vasetti di farina
Preheat oven to 350. Butter and flour a baking pan. Pour yogurt in a bowl, add sugar and mix well (use an electric beater if you have one). Add one (yogurt) cup of flour at a time and one egg alternating them and mix until blended. Gradually beat in sunflower oil, salt and eventually the baking powder. You can leave it plain or pour half of the batter in the baking pan, and add cocoa powder to the remaining batter (impasto). Bake at 350 (180 C) for 45 minutes. This is going to be your favorite cake, senza burro, no butter, morbidissima, super moist. Facilissima e buonissima!
Let me know if you love it like I do!
PILLOLA D’ITALIANO: The letter y (ipsilon) in Italian can only be found in foreign words, like yogurt that is a Turkish word. J (i lunga), K (kappa), W (doppia vu), X (ics) and Y (ipsilon) are the 5 foreign letter in the Italian alphabet.
